What this site processes
If you send an engagement brief, we process your name, company, work email, the mandate you select, the starting point you select, and the decision you describe. The form does not ask for a telephone number, an identity number, or special-category data under Article 9 GDPR. Please do not put customer lists, bank details or health information in the decision field. If you do, we will delete what we do not need in order to answer you.
If you only browse, the site stores one item in local storage on your device so the notice bar stays closed. It does not run an advertising or analytics script, and it does not build a profile of your visit.
Why, and on what basis
| Processing | Purpose | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| The brief | To decide whether the mandate fits and what a first conversation would settle | Article 6(1)(b): steps before a contract, at your request |
| The engagement, if one is agreed | To do the work and keep the record the engagement requires | Article 6(1)(b), and Article 6(1)(c) where tax or company law requires a record |
| The notice bar | To remember that you closed it | Article 6(1)(f): a limited interest in not repeating a notice you have already seen. The storage itself is covered below |
We do not use the brief to send a newsletter, and we do not sell it.
Information stored on your device
Article 4(5) of Law 3471/2006, and the Hellenic Data Protection Authority’s Recommendations 1/2020, cover cookies and similar techniques, including HTML local storage. Storage or access on your device needs your consent, unless it is strictly necessary to send a communication or to provide a service you asked for.
The only item this site writes is the key symvouleftikiCookieConsent. It records that you closed the notice. It is a presentation preference, it expires only when you clear site data, and it is not shared. We treat it as strictly necessary for that limited purpose, so the bar does not ask you to accept analytics. There is no analytics service to accept. If a non-essential tracker is added later, it will not run before a separate, prior consent, and refusal will not block the site.
The map
The contact section embeds a map from OpenStreetMap. Loading that map sends your IP address and browser data to the map provider as part of the request. That provider is not our processor for the brief. The link “Open in Google Maps” leaves this site only if you choose it. We do not receive your location from either map beyond what the page request itself contains.
Who else sees it, and transfers
The brief is read by the people in this company who decide on mandates. We do not appoint a general marketing processor. A host or mail provider used to receive the message acts on our instructions for that purpose only. The map request may be handled on servers outside Greece. Where a transfer leaves the European Economic Area and no adequacy decision covers it, we rely on the transfer tool required by Chapter V GDPR, or we do not use that route.
How long
A brief we decline is kept only long enough to send that answer and to deal with any follow-up in the same thread, and not as a list for a later approach. A brief that becomes an engagement is kept for the life of that work and then for the period Greek tax and company law requires for the related records. The notice-bar key stays on your device until you remove it.
Your rights
Under Articles 15 to 22 GDPR you may ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and a portable copy of the brief you sent, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it. We reply within one month, as Article 12 requires, unless the request is complex, in which case we will tell you why the reply needs longer. We do not charge for a first request. We do not take a decision about you based solely on automated processing.
You may lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (Archí Prostasías Dedoménon Prosopikoú Charaktíra), at www.dpa.gr. Writing to us first does not affect that right.
Children
This site is written for people acting for a business. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect a child’s data through the brief.
Changes
If this notice changes in a way that affects a brief you have already sent, the date at the top of the page will move and the copy on this page will be the one that applies from that date.
